A collaboration with artist Natasha Rosling to produce a model for an architectural proposal.
A 3D model of the terrain relief was produced from Forestry Commision data and used to produce a topological model of the proposal site.
- Laser-cut Greyboard
- 3D-Printed ABS
Comparison of laser-cut card to 3D printed ABS - The laser-cut card better demonstrated the relief of the site.
Small maquettes were made from a 3D model of the relief to determine the best context for the site.
Final relief made at the final scale.
A bench, trees and people provide an intuitive understanding of the scale of the relief
